In terms of attendees, the Signing Ceremony welcomed Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. PhD. NGUYEN Van Lam of the Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, as well as the heads of the faculties of medicine and basic sciences, the office of science-technology and external relations, the office of undergraduate training, and the office of finance and accounting. Ms. Deepa Ranganathan, Director of Aieraa Overseas Studies, and Mr. Raunak Raj, Aieraa Overseas Studies, were present on the side of Aieraa Overseas Studies.
The units have experienced many challenges with regard to innovation and the implementation of the Competency-Based Medical Education Program; as a result, it is necessary to update the training programme and enhance the lecturers’ skills in order to meet the innovative requirements of enhancing and implementing competency-based training, teaching, and assessment programmes. Additionally, it would be wise to devote greater attention to teaching lecturers how to conduct scientific research, emphasising evidence-based medicine, and assisting lecturers in developing their leadership and professional competency. The two parties work together in the following areas: industrial consulting and management; medical examination, treatment, and preventive medicine; training, cultivating, and developing human resources for health, science, and technology Science and technology research, use, and transfer. Implement procedures for illness prevention, technological transfer, and medical assessment and treatment.
A partnership agreement was signed by Ms. Deepa Ranganathan, Director of the Aieraa Overseas Studies, and Assoc. Prof. NGUYEN Van Lam, Vice Rector of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
Following a discussion between the two units, an agreement was reached on comprehensive cooperation based on the principle of voluntary equality for mutual development, strict implementation of the programmes mentioned in the memorandum, and adherence to Vietnamese legal requirements, as evidenced by a closer working relationship on particular activities.
The ceremony between Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Aieraa Overseas Studies, India, was a complete success and helped to develop, strengthen, and widen the relationship between the two organisations’ bilateral cooperation in order to fully utilise the potentials and advantages of the two units.
